MY WASH DAY REGIMEN (21st DECEMBER)

So, as i mentioned in the earlier post i took off my protective style (kinky twist out braids) on saturday.  and since my hair has been in protective style for 31 days i did a pre- shampooing with coconut oil, rosemary oil amd sweet almond oil on friday night. yes.  i mixed about three table spoons of coconut oil, a table spoon full of sweet almond oil and two drops of rosemary oil. i poured the mixer in to a sray bottle and warmed in it hot water for a few minutes, after which i gradually sprayed the oil under my scalp till i got the hot oil under my whole scalp. i then massaged the oil under my scalp for five minutes then i covered my hair with a shower cup tied my hair with a satin scarf and went to bed.
On saturday wich was the wash day removed my braids. picture beneath
I
I shampooed my hair using TRESemme Vitamin C DEEP CLEANSING Shampoo after wish i dried my hair partially with a T shirt.

i then followed by applying  TRESemme CLEANSE AND REPLENISH pro-vitamin b5 & aloe re- moisture conditioner under my scalp, i then massaged the conditioner under my scalp and making sure my strands were fully covered with the conditioner. i covered my hair with a shower cup for 20 minutes to enable the conditioner do its work well. i rinsed after 20  minutes.
I dried my hair with the T shirt. i then detangled my hair and applied my American silky straight she butter leave in conditioner.
i realized it made my hair soft an my hair loves it too. : ) . i parted my hair in to four section after combing and did a Bantu knot . i left my hair to air dry because i trying to stay away from heat for now since I'm transitioning i don't want anything to jeopardize my toe textured hair ( relaxed and the new growth) I'm 10 weeks post relaxer.

After my hair was 80% air dried i applied jojoba oil and then followed it with my Elasta Qp Olive oil and mango butter Moisturizer. hmmm ilove the smell of this moisturizer and my hair loves it too, not too oily. i then styled my hair.

Oh did i mention i did my first measurement of my new growth and almost hitting an inch hurray. I'm loving my new growth cant wait.please note: Patience is Key When Transitioning from Relaxed to Natural Hair.

Love
Scilla.
